ballislife123321 Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 We are aloud to begin applying to PI's beginning on Jan 1, and it ends in March. Would it be a waste of time to start applying now? All the positions are filled, would you think?
brady23 Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 Try it out, just mass e-mail as many as possible that interest you, you might get lucky!
peace2014 Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Try it out, just mass e-mail as many as possible that interest you, you might get lucky! Just to bump up this question. Do you think it is too late to get paid positions? Not only at St. michaels but other insitutions like McGill?
PurpleS Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 I don't think it's ever "too late" to get a paid research position, it's just that the probability of getting one significantly decreases after all the awards deadlines. You can still contact PIs to see if any of them are willing to pay for your stipend out of their grant.
