What Happens If You Don't Have A Full Courseload?

Recommended Posts

You will lose the weighing formula for UofT. There is no way to make up for it unfortunately.

You also must have 3 years full courseload for Ottawa, but you can make up for it by doing a course in the summer or another academic year to balance it all out to 5.0 full courses in the span of 3 years.

E.g if you have

Year 1: 4.5 courses

Year 2: 5.5 courses

Year 3: 5 courses

- you qualify

No other med school requires full courseload for EVERY year (I think).

Most of other schools have different definitions of "full courseload" or require only 1,2,3 years of full courseload.

Western is 2

Calgary is 2

Alberta is 2(?) I think

Dalhousie is 2

McMaster no requirement

Queens full courseload is 18 credits I believe
