Volunteering Abroad

As long as you have a list of verifiers and can articulate how these experiences have influenced your career path in your personal statement, I don't see how that would be a problem. If I were a member of the admissions committee, your consistent interest in volunteering would matter a lot more to me than the location where the ECs took place. I think volunteering in Canada is a good idea, not because you need more "domestic" experiences but just so you continue showing interest in helping others!

Of course that's just my personal opinion hehe. Maybe reach out to the adcom and ask?
