Withdraw Or Take The Grade?

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know how dental schools look at a withdraw out of a course, specifically the UofA?  I'm currently sitting at a 3.92 and would probably get bumped down to a 3.88 by taking a possible B- in an English course, or even a C+ if things go worse than I imagine.  I've never taken a W before and I'm currently awaiting a response from the UofA about admission, though i'm not overly optimistic about it.  What looks worse, the W or the gpa?  Any advice would be appreciated.
