Housing & Academies

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if we should wait until being assigned to an academy (St. George) before starting to look for places to live in? In what area do the majority of students live?!

If any upper year U of T meds could give some insight, it would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi Monika,

I believe most people in my class chose a place to live before finding out their academy (or at least I did). Even if you get the academy you want, there are still hospitals such as TEGH, Markham-Stouffville, or Bridgepoint that are farther away and you don't find out about that until August during O-week.

Though students live all over the place, most people I know live along Bay or University Ave

Hope this helps!
