leaf
Does anyone live in Burlington and go to Mac? I was just wondering if it's practical?
FuturePT216
It's definitely doable as the 47 bus comes pretty often and it drops you off right on campus. I know a bunch of friends who were commuting, but it depends on your personal preference and how far you are from the Burlington GO station
武田信玄
With a car, anything is practical.
thestar10
possible yes. Practical depends on what you consider a reasonable commute.
PDFChemist
You are looking at 15-20 minutes by car (door to parking lot) + about 15-20 minutes from parking lot to building (shuttle or by foot).
osteogeek
There are a handful of us in my class that commute from further (Mississauga, Vaughan, Toronto), and it's doable if you're willing to make the drive. Transit is definitely an option but having a car is just so much more convenient when you're commuting (especially come clerkship). For the most part, you'll be travelling against traffic going to Mac from Burlington, so the drive isn't too long depending on where you're living.
