Student Loans For Alberta Residents

Could anyone direct me to where I can apply for student loans for Alberta residents? I've been looking up student aid but I'm confused by all the options they offer. Additionally, does anyone know of scholarships available to those of us studying  outside of Alberta?

Student loan applications for programs that start after August 1 will open on July 7, so wait until July 7 before filling out the online forms. If you have started an application, you have to delete it and start a new one on July 7.

 

If you haven't had student loans in the past, you have to create a new account. Be sure to have your SIN ready. Also, this is a consolidated form that lets you apply simultaneously for both federal and provincial student loans, so you're good to go after completing this.

 

Re scholarships: Your best bet would be asking your home school for them as I think most Albertan scholarships require that you study in Alberta.
