5Th Year At U Of A?

Has anyone been able to get around the following policy at the U of A?:

 

"Students who have completed 120 or more and who have either not applied to graduate, or who have applied but have not met graduation requirements, are permitted to register only in those courses necessary to complete their current program as quickly as possible. Such students must have the written approval of the Associate Dean of Science for every course beyond 120 in which they register."

 

wondering if anyone has successfully done a full 5th year with a fall and winter semester at the U of A.

If you wanted to change major/minor so late in the game... should have just signed up for the two year after degree.
