Course-Based Masters (Apparently Doesn't Count?)

Look at Q6. It's implied that the adcom can decide whether an applicant is considered in the grad or undergrad pool. A course-based Master's may seem like just 2 extra years of course marks (very similar to undergrad) if the program is not research-heavy/thesis based. In that case, they may decide to evaluate you as an undergrad.

They shouldn't, they're worthless.

Disagree, course-based masters may not have a thesis but they are far from useless... that's like saying there's no point in doing a Master of Public Health anywhere.

You would think that in a forum thread about non-traditional applicants that people wouldn't carry such a distasteful stigma in regards to education.
