doc123 Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 I registered for the Canadian DAT exam and the Manual Dexterity Test Portion of Exam, but I recently read somewhere that UBC Dental School does not require the MDT section. In this case, do I need to register for the American DAT or can I take the Canadian DAT and opt out of MDT?
ydogyy1 Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 Yep. You can choose to do the Canadian DAT and omit the MDT or you can choose to do the American DAT. Either is fine for UBC.

Thank you! Can someone please confirm that as today is the last to register and I will not be able to add on the MDT section
aukgnu12 Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 UBC definitely does not require the MDT. Pretty sure the only Canadian schools that still consider it are Alberta and Manitoba.
