One clear difference compared to previous years is that not a single person matched to an Irish residency program this year, and assuming that there were some unmatched people (fair assumption), it seems like they either applied to the Irish internship but there were too many EU applicants so they were not successful, or they did not bother applying to the Irish internship, or there could have been some change in the rules regarding applications to Irish internship making it more restrictive...any thoughts on this?

 

Also, I would be interested to know the breakdown as to how many of these matched individuals graduated this year, and how many are repeat applicants.
