Does anyone have the 2015/2016 intake statistics? I looked on the website and they have statistics up to 2014/2015. I was wondering whether anyone who interviewed last year for USask DMD can share what the cutoffs were for OOP.

It was 93.55% for an interview in 2014-2015 so i guess it would be fair to assume its 94% now?   Gotta bank on UWO now for an interview

I called the admissions office to ask about it. They said it was 94.05% to get an interview for OOP. Safe to assume it'll be upwards of 94% this year I guess

I got an interview last year as OOP and my average was around 89%

Was wondering if anyone could answer this question for me. If I go to a school that already gives number grades as the base (but also has letter grades on my transcript - Lakehead University), do I just use my regular average or do I convert somehow using that scale? If so, how would I convert?

 

I didn't apply to Saskatchewan this year because my average from all of my Lakehead courses is only 89% and I was intimidated by the mean average in the admission stats.

The rule of thumb usually is that they use the percents if given directly on the transcript. So if your average is 89% based on your percents on transcript, that is your application average

Yeah I know  . ~94% is crazy high and unless your in the top of your program with 4.0s across the board, USask is pretty much a rejection

Some schools do not offer A+ unless a student excels to a crazy level. 
I'm guessing this year it'll be all A+'s (for oop) getting the nod for interview

Have they released interview invites yet? Their website says that the interview is February 27th but i did not receive either an invite or rejection notification as of yet.

I emailed them last week and they said its supposed to come out this week or early next week.

On their admissions guide they stated that interviews will be released mid-February and interviews will be held on March 5th hope that helps!

It actually says February 27, 2016 in the admissions guide.

 

Interviews for admission for 2016-2017 are scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2016. Applicants selected to interview will be contacted via email by mid-February.

They sent out interview notifications about 2 weeks before the interviews were held last year, the week before the reading week break if i am not mistaken.  As for the 2015-2016 stats, I'm not sure why they haven't been released yet.  Good luck!

Not sure how to calculate my stats for them. Best two years 93% average. DAT 66/90 and they state that min out of province combine was 84.5% combined. Sooo not so sure how I would fall under that if that's even what they are stating.
