4Th Year Schedule?

Recommended Posts

This might be specific re: schools, but for U of T it seems like there is a gap in between our last weeks of 4th year ("fusion", in mid-April) and our convocation in early June. Apart from the MCCQE part 1, are there any other mandatory events that happen in this time? Say if you took the MCCQE as soon as it opened (usually late April, iirc) then are you basically free to vacay until grad?

If any recent grads esp. U of T students could clarify, that'd be awesome. Thanks!

Didn't go to U of T so can't say for certain, but out on the left coast we finished coursework May 1. We wrote the LMCC from May 3-7 (or something like that) and then had graduation ceremonies at the end of May.

Other schools have other random stuff and a slightly different order to things.

Also, during this time you will be bombarded by your residency program for things like: criminal record checks, training modules, CMPA and college registration, you'll want to get disability/life insurance organized, you'll need to move, you'll need to find a new place to live, you'll want to say goodbye to your friends/family etc... so, even though it may say you are off for 6-8 weeks... you'll have so many little things to do that it'll keep you busy.

Enjoy 4th year- it's a blast and it flies by.
