stickynote
Anyone forsee Ottawa getting rid of the science prereqs in the coming years? (Considering they are the only Ontario school that still have core science prereqs)
maverick5
Depends on how they decide to treat their provional MCAT requirement, as without both the MCAT and prerequisites, there wouldn't be much for them to go on academically pre-interview besides GPA (especially it they opt to treat French applicants differently). Even if they decide to keep it, there's still a good chance of still keeping the prerequisites too.
stickynote
Update: looks like they will use the MCAT next year.. It seems like it's implied through this post on their website: "Candidates are recommended to write the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). We will be accepting applications without the MCAT for this cycle of admission. The MCAT scores THIS YEAR will not be factored into the criteria for acceptance."
