Omsas Questions

Hello everyone,

 

While completing the omsas application, I have encountered some questions that hoping someone could provide some insights:

 

1. How do you fill in the telephone number extension? I tried to type it after the phone number, but kept getting the error message saying: "this is an invalid number".
2. Could I order the transcripts and click on the "send email" under the "referee" section before I submit the application? or I have to submit the application first?

Hey Leaf,

I understand that it may be an older post from 2004, but it seems to hold some relevance in your phone number situation.

2. I believe you "Add Transcript Request" for any Ontario Universities and that request is sent to them electronically when your OMSAS application is submitted. Note that there are exceptions to the electronic transcript request, so double check OMSAS if you are an exception. As for referees, you need to add their information, and can't think of any better way to say this, but "register" them on to Referee #1,2 or 3 and a "sent email" option will show up beside each inputted referees' name - you do not have to submit your application in order to send the email to your referee.
