Volunteer Research Assistant?

Where would you guys put this under? I have spent many hours as a volunteer research assistant in a clinical setting, researching a disease to better classify it and improve its understanding. Could I put it under service ethic? Or would it just be diversity of experience?

Depending on your involvement with the team, I don't see why it couldn't be capacity to work with others either.

I put a similar role under Diversity. In any case, I don't think it really matters in the grand scheme of things.

This category recognizes applicants’ abilities to work with groups which take them beyond their peers, friends, school and co-workers.  Consideration is given to an applicant’s experience and knowledge gained  from working with groups and individuals including, but not limited to, customer service teams, diverse age groups, cultures different from one’s own (immersion), socio-economic background other than one’s own, individuals with physical,  cognitive or developmental disabilities, sexual orientation, etc.

 

I had the same issue. Originally I put it under capacity to work with others, after re-reading this I believe it is better off under diversity of experience.

Thanks guys! Yea I think I'm just gonna go with Diversity of Experience. I guess I was just hoping because Service Ethic is the one category I don't have filled.
