Bede
I am a post doctoral fellow (PhD) doing neuro MRI research. I know a reasonable amount about MR physics, but beyond obvious tumours, T2 hyperintensity, focal lesions (MS), etc. and basic anatomy, I have no idea what I'm looking at. I know I won't know as much as a radiologist, but I'd at least like to have semblance of a clue of what I'm talking about. Maybe get to the point of a mid-radiology resident level knowledge eventually. A general radiology text would be good because it would probably cover the basics of neuro, but really my interest is in neuro.
Lactic Folly
Suggest the first section of Brant and Helms' Fundamentals of Diagnostic Radiology (more condensed) or Neuroradiology: The Requisites (if you want more detail/exposition).
