medhopeful25 Posted November 13, 2016 Report Share Posted November 13, 2016 Hello everyone, Next month, I will be moving to Alberta from the beautiful BC as I got a job offer in Edmonton. I am just wondering if I intend to work there for a year or so, will I be qualified to gain an IP status? or should I wait for two years before I can get the IP status. VolumeOverload Posted November 13, 2016 Report Share Posted November 13, 2016 This question is easily answered by reading the application manual on the official admissions page...In short, you must be physically present in the province for 2 years on a day-to-day basis between the day you arrive and the first day of classes (first week of July).
