westcoastbestcoast
Does anyone have a good estimate at the of the standard deviation of admission averages? For example, UBC's average hovers around 86% - would an 84% have any chance? Thanks! **apologies for the double post, not sure how to delete posts...**
Kentucky Fried Blaziken
Obviously I can't speak for any other schools, Uwo 2019 class average had a 89.8% average, I had 87.5%, so I guess the answer is yes you have a chance, but you gotta be good or at least different from the pack in other aspects. DC-Comics
Except the interesting thing about UBC specifically is that they evaluate in 2 phases: first phase, they only care about GPA and DAT. second phase, they only care about interview and PBL. So GPA and DAT has no influence on the final decision.
aukgnu12
I think UBC weighs GPA and DAT equally. I got in with an 84% this year but balanced it out with a decent DAT (24PAT, 23AA). So definitely possible!
