How Does Everyone Think The Mcat Will Be Considered This Year?

Recommended Posts

Pre-interview: Just a cut-off (same as previous years)

Post-interview: Weighed more heavily for students with less science-based courses.

UBC Med doesn't reveal how they evaluate candidates post-interview (other than saying it's holistic) so it's any-ones guess.

Hmm, while your statement certainly makes sense, I'm wondering where UBC says that the MCAT will be weighed differently for different candidates? With the removal of pre-reqs, it's possible that the MCAT will be weighed more for every candidate (compared to previous years)
