How Do You Know How Much Time You Have In Mmi (No Watches Allowed)?

Recommended Posts

Updating my answer: the blog has a post that says there may or may not be clocks in the rooms, but no timer.

That just makes me think that they neither add or remove clocks - their presence totally depends on whether the room already had one or not. Either way, they're not a guarantee so we should be prepared to go without.

Don't rely on having a clock in the room. If the room is anything like how it usually is, and the interview positioning is the same as it was last year, you'd have to turn around 180 degrees to look at the clock because it's usually on the side of the wall that the door is on. Definitely don't do that in the middle of your interview.

Are there any alarms to indicate how much time you have left?

As someone who did 3 MMIs and was accepted at all of them, you're overthinking it.

Say what you have to say, then answer the follow ups if there are any. If you still have time, reread the prompt and see if you have anything else meaningful to say.

If you're talking for 7 minutes straight, you're probably talking too much anyways.
