mr.smith
Hi, I was wondering if I am taking an English course this term for the UBC requirement, what is the minimum mark that they require post-acceptance or is it just a pass? Thanks for your help!
yych208
I think it's just a pass. However, on the website it did mention that they'll calculate your GPA again post-acceptance and it can't drop for more than 5% (check the website). Bottom line is that you should still try your best this year/semester.
lab2185
I would do your best in case you are not accepted and reapply, then this mark would be included in your GPA the following cycle. Also, since it is a pre-req nobody really knows if admissions will look particularly closely at these marks post-interview, as it is part of the 'holistic review'
yych208
Please excuse me for stealing your thread I was wondering what would happen if the prerequisites are not completed by April 30th (say, mid May instead).

I believe that your application would be disqualified, but contact Adcom to confirm.
mr.smith
I think that your exam has to be completed by April 30th, but I'm pretty sure that they don't require your transcript until end of June. And thanks for your responses!
JohnGrisham
Please excuse me for stealing your thread I was wondering what would happen if the prerequisites are not completed by April 30th (say, mid May instead). There is some flexibility, get a written record to be sure. In the past, as long as your final transcript was received before June 30th, it didnt really matter when your course officially ended prior to that. Could have ended April 30th, could have been may 30, as long as you have a final grade when the transcript deadline is due - it was irrelevant. This was because they understood online courses had flexibility in timelines. Re-confirm that is still appropriate for this cycle. Should see no reason why it wouldn't be.
