MedForDays
Hello, I'm just working on the MUN application and I had a quick question about the activities that can go under employment and extra-curriculars. The employment section does not allow applicants to add a description of their work, but the EC section does. I feel like the description of some of my jobs is super important to who I am, so it would be nice to be able to add one in. Should I just put those jobs under the EC section so that I can add in a description? I don't see anything saying I can't (e.g. like the UBC application that specifically states a difference between paid employment and EC stuff). Has anyone done this before? Thoughts? Thank you in advance!
Intermediate
There's an additional section that allows you to enter 3000 characters. I think I would put it in there.
hartk48
A related (stupid) question: since theres no research section, should I put grants, posters, and publications in the EC section?
PulsusParadoxus
I put publications as well as my position as the author (first, second, etc) in the 3000 character box at the end. Conferences/posters/presentations I put under ECs. Grants, IMO, should go under scholarships/awards and you can explain a bit about them (agency, competition, etc) in that extra 3000 character space.
