RadLife:
Hello, I have a 3.67 GPA currently (2nd year IG going to 3rd) and was wondering what my CARS score would have to be if I want to have a decent shot at McMaster this cycle. Thanks for all your help.
hartk48
looking at stats can help you determine your chances, for any school. Mac is the easiest to determine because they actually tell you how you are ranked. Third variable you need to consider is CASper, if you get an average grade on it, i'd say 129 on cars minimum. If your casper is phenomenal, you might be able to slip by with a

Thanks for all your help. a 3.67 is definitely on the lower spectrum on the GPA end, not to sound like a bad guy here, but I haven't heard of anyone getting into med with a 3.67 as a third year applicant. But then again mac places CASPer and CARS on equal weighing as GPA, but since your GPA is less than average acceptance from last year (~3.84), you'll definitely need an above average CARS and CASPer to compensate.
