Ok so I'm new to this stuff and this may sound stupid but do med schools drop your worst year or I've even heard they only count only your last two? Sorry for sounding kinda useless I'm just a first year still a baby trying to get used to uni :) any response is appreciated and good luck everyone!!

Mike,  you will find the schools are all different. Some like MAC look at your entire cumulative cGPA.  Other schools have weighted GPAs  --- Queens (last 2 years), Western (best 2 years), Ottawa (scaled last 3 years), or Toronto (drop lowest 6 / 8 credits).   You need to do your homework for the schools you will apply. 

In all cases GPA is king. You need to do very well, but still have some forgiveness if you have a bad year or courses.  Note the weighted GPAs require you to take a full course load in all years.
