Any recommended books, guides or resources on the med school application process?

Hi, I'm a bit out of my element here, but I'm wondering if there is a good book or guide on the med school application process? I would like to get something like a book or guide as a birthday gift for a family member who is interested in going to med school. Perhaps you would recommend some other resource that I could get as a gift.

At one point I had this recommended to me: https://www.amazon.ca/Doctor-Guidebook-Canadian-Medical-School/dp/0978130901 however, that was written 10 years ago and things change so much im not sure how relevant it wold be now.
