gimmeMD
Hello, So, I am 21 and have studied general arts/science for the past few years with a mix of full time and part-time semesters while I was a travelling athlete. I am not finished my short but sweet athletic career. I want to begin the health science degree at queens, but lack some high school pre requisites. I was advised that I could take 2 courses from the health science degree this summer, and assuming I achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be admitted to the full time degree in the fall. I would like to do this rather than the high school pre requisites, because these summer courses I will take would then count towards the degree program. Question is, during my summer studies I will be considered a mature 'non degree interest' student. When it comes to application time, will having that status and experience on my record matter? I am sorry if this is a 'stupid' question but I do not know much about this. Thanks team

The grades from those summer courses will count towards your GPA at some schools though, such as McMaster and NOSM in Ontario, so keep that in mind
