What colour backpacks will next year's class carry?

Does the vote actually impact the colour? I saw on a thread from last year that someone said it didn't impact the final choice.

I am honestly not sure what that poll is for, other than pure marketing.

Yeah I feel like it's just a marketing ploy and to help us pass the time waiting for the colour reveal. I don't see any way they could realistically produce so many backpacks in such a short span of time from when the poll ends to when Calgary gets their backpacks.
