M.Canuck
Hi there, I am currently a third year life sciences undergrad and was hoping to enter PA school come September 2015. I was wondering what a competitive GPA would be for both McMaster and U of T, and what other qualifications make an applicant competitive? I was actually initially enrolled in a 5 year PA program in the US, and completed 2 years of it before having to transfer home. So I have done 2 years of PA school already, and a 3.10 GPA (this semester should boost it a lot!), have volunteered in hospitality and the surgical suite at a hospital for one year, four months as an OT assistant, currently am a PT volunteer assistant, volunteered as a bereavement counselor for 1 year with hospice, 1 year in long term care at a retirement home, and was an athletic therapist work study for 1.5 years. Would this be considered competitive (obviously once I work on boosting my GPA!)? Thanks so much for any input!
