Dhdalrig543
Hi everyone! I’m in my year 3 of nursing, heading to my final year this coming fall and I am hoping to apply to UofS or UofM for Med either intake 2020 or intake 2021. My current GPA is at a 3.5 and I have tons of extracurriculars (volunteering, conferences, college society/exec and working on a paper with a prof) Haven’t taken the mcat yet. What are my chances? Thank you
ornge
I'm thinking of taking this route, but make sure to look through the admissions info carefully. For example, many medical schools need you to have 5 courses per term (30 credit hours) in order to be considered. For nursing, we usually have less than that due to clinical placements.
