stickman
Hi there, I am an IMG and Canadian landed immigrant who is considering applying for a residency in internal medicine. I am unsure as to how someone becomes a neurologist in Canada. Do I apply to the internal medicine residency, do 3 years of it, and then apply to do a subspeciality in neurology? Or do I need to apply for neurology in my initial residency application at the end of my MD? Unclear about this. How does it work? Thanks so much!!! mononoke
you would apply directly into neurology, it's a separate specialty here
