nostalg26
Hello, I just got back from traveling and called to book an appt with Student Health Service to review my immun. record. As warned, the earliest appt. they could give me is on Mon sept 11th at 11am. I'm worried that I might have to miss a class for it. Anyone know how our schedule will be like? I have been updating my immunizations, and had my family doctor fill in the form, but apparently i still need a nurse from SHS to review it.. Anyone else got a late appt.? medsmurf
uh oh...I still haven't got on that yet. I have the form all filled out but haven't booked an appointment with SHS yet. I guess I should do that tomorrow although it's kind of tough when we don't know our schedule yet.
Tiramisu
Monday schedule usully goes 8-10 PBL (attendance mandatory) 10-12 Lecture (no one knows you're there ) The appointment doesn't take that long, so you'll probably miss maybe 1/2 of a lecture, or the worst case scenario one full lecture. We got Monday afternoons off, and I would guess it'll be the same for you guys. Cheers
Destiny Gundam
I am going in on the 25th for my Hep A shot... yeah if you havne't booked your appointment yet I suggest you do it ASAP I think the ones available now are well into mid-Sept... maybe try to get most of the shots done on your own with your fam. physician if possible... good luck! medsmurf
I finally booked my appointment today for Sept 11 in the afternoon. I already have my form completed and signed by my doctor so hopefully it will just be a matter of the nurse reviewing and signing it. They actually have certain appointment times reserved for med students so we don't have to miss classes.
Persistent
For those of you who haven't gotten to making an appointment yet, don't worry too much. You have until November I hear. Of course it's nice to get it done sooner than later... but I don't think it's necessary to miss classes for it just yet. Persistent.
