Yello
Does anyone know if you can use your provincial health card as ID at the MCAT? I lost my drivers license at a bar and I don't have a passport...
Medhopeful
Doubt it, they need a photo ID to prove that you are who you say you are (otherwise someone could easy write it for you). I would get another DL and hopefully, you're writing in July/Aug
Yello
It has my photo and signature on it though (it's the relatively new kind)... I don't think I have time to get another id I'm going to contact them tomorrow and see what they have to say.
Guest amar21
kind of offtopic - but if im writing in the states and travelling across the border, do i need my passport or will a drivers license still sustain ? I'm not sure if they changed the law yet.. a few months ago it was drivers license is OK if you are driving across the border, but if you fly you need a passport. Yello
A bit vague MCAT response, but I suppose it indicates that the health card should be ok? "Hello, Thank You for contacting the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) program. If you have a current government-issued photo ID with your signature on it, it should not be a problem. Please let us know if you need any additional assistance."
drakee
I was wondering the same thing. So I was wondering if anyone who has taken the MCAT in Ontario knows if you can enter the test site with a Ontario Health Card?
