wwjdsj
I got my BSc from McGill University. I have three biology courses, two from first-year general bio with labs and one molecular bio. Which ones do I have to list as prerequisites? I was looking at the descriptions on UBC website, but it's hard to decide, b/c I did far better on molecular bio. Can anyone help me?
Jixe
I'd like to know as well. I've got well over 20+ biology courses and it'd be nice to have the upper year ones (with better grades) count towards the pre-requisites.
muhgel
hey mcgill, if you let the ubc admission team know wot courses you've taken they can let you know historically what courses they accept as equivalent & then you can inquire if youhave a say in what uses as what. hope this helps
avenir001
ya this would help me as well...but i remember reading somewhere that they take the first course u've taken that satisfies the pre-requisite. it seems there really is no way to improve the pre-req avg unless u use the 10-year rule. Poolboy
I did a biology degree, so tonnes of bio courses, but they took my first/second year bio courses (I had a choice between four). I didn't do so great in them so I was waiting for the 10 year rule to replace them (luckily it worked out without waiting). So go with your first/second year courses.
