doodly
Does anyone know why we have to put in the total hours for everything? Even for an award? How can you have "hours" for receiving an award? Also, for living in rural areas and such, what if I lived there for 6 years. How would I calculate the total hours?? Please help ASAP! Jixe
You don't need to put hours for awards, just the amount you received.
doodly
hmm. i guess im talking about the nonacademic awards in the extracurricular section where it says publications, research, awards, certificates etc. they do require hours to be filled in. Any ideas?
bladam
the admissions office told me to put in a 0 for hours, they know it doesn't make sense to put in hours for an award.

Any ideas? You're putting awards in NAQ and not the award section?
vip_138
there's an award section in NAQ for those that aren't academic. I put 1st place in a piano festival there and something else ... can't remember right now. I think they realize your 'hours' won't be high, i think i basically said how long i was at the actual competition ~ 1 hour or so ... not sure if that's right but i don't think they'll care too much.
