Mei_Mei_girl
Hello everyone, I have a question I hope someone out there will know the answer to (and would greatly appreciate an answer). I have always wanted to incorporate natural medicine with "medical school" medicine, but this seems like a long shot in Canada where everything is standardized by government policy. Needless to say, I am attracted to practising as a physician in the USA where it is more like a private business. I want to go to med school in the States and live and practise there. I believe I read somwhere that to be a doctor in the States you have to be a US citizen? (have a green card?) My mom is probably going to marry a US person, and then if he adopted me, would I get a green card? Also, if he did so, would I be able to pay US tuition fees (not international) and apply for US scholarships/etc. as a US citizen even if my undergrad is in Canada? I know its complicated, hoep someone out there knows anything about this!
hippie
You won't be getting a green card unless you are under 18. if you are over 18 you can apply as a Canadian/International applicant. If you are still under 18, go enjoy your life and worry about this later.
