However, you have to be sure that you are calculating your GPA as Western would, which is often different than the overall GPA from you university. Western grants interviews based on having one year about the cut-off (and meeting the MCAT cut-off), and acceptanced based upon having two years above the cut-off. They only count years with 5.0 courses (excluding any repeated courses). At the same time, if you take more than 5.0 courses, Western counts your best 5.0 courses. Western gives all applicants who meet the cut-offs interviews, but at the same, doesn't look at all at those applicants who miss the cut-off, even if by just a small margin.
