doc_911
Is scoring ~75% on 1001 EK a good sign? I haven't really brushed up on the stuff I am weak at and have been getting steadily around 3/4 of the questions correct. Are EK questions considered to be harder/ easier/ or similiar to the real MCAT ones? Has anyone here wrote the MCAT after having similiar performance on EK? what were your MCAT scores? lol;)
Jamer
EK is renowned for being very similar to the actual MCAT. That said, 75% really isn't a very strong score (although it's not awful). Depending on the difficulty of the administration and thus the curve, it's probably an 8 or a 9.
doc_911
Would it mean, that if you score ~12/15 on practice tests, you are actually looking at a lower mark on a real MCAT? Thanks;-)
Jamer
...I don't understand your question.
doc_911
;-))))) sorry.. If I score 12 on each section on a practice test, and therefore am capable of scoring around 12 on a real MCAT section, will I actually get 9-10 because they will curve my score down? polarb
no. jamer said that EK tests are reasonably indicative on the real MCAT test. so if you score a 12 on each section, you could reason that on the real test date, you can get a 10-12.
