THX
I've successfully paid for a number of secondaries online, but some have been a bit difficult: namely Upstate and Tulane. Neither one allows for Canadian postal codes (can't get the last digit in) or even to select a country. I don't think a credit card payment can go through without this information, how did you guys deal with this? (for syracuse I've sent a cheque in, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Tulane - maybe it will save me a phone call).
THX
On a related note, when filling out a cheque are you simply putting down 'XXX Dolars USD'? None of the cheques I have sent in have cleared yet so I am wondering if schools do not accept Canadian cheques?
n00b
I think you're supposed to send a check that withdraws from a US bank.
Gavanshir
My bank (RBC) charges me either $15 or $25 if I just write USD on my canadian checks, apparently that's their "conversion fee". So unless your Canadian bank has actually given you US checks then I think a money order is the best way to go ($5-6).
