smoothblue
Due to unforeseen circumstances, it turns out I have exactly 4 days to study for the MCAT... which leaves me quite screwed compared to most who spend 4 months T.T ... I've never written the MCAT before and I'm a life sciences major, fairly strong in biology and writing as far as my school marks go (GPA ~3.9). I just want to know if anyone has heard of someone studying for the MCAT in such a short time period and still manage to score at least 30. There's a stupid optimistic and naive voice in my head that thinks I'm gonna be able to pull it off and I think I need someone to give me a reality check. (If things turn out for the worst during the test, I’m planning to void it.) Thanks for your time!
arctic_monkey
hmmm...practice tests and focus on strategy...you don't have time to go through material....see how you do on practice tests and decide if you will write the mcat or wait a bit more...i havent heard of anyone not studying and pulling off an awesome score although im sure it happens... Jamer
My friend who isn't brilliant but is quite smart studied for 2 days for the MCAT and got a 32Q. It's doable, but you won't end up reaching even close to your potential, so why bother?
tyro
Why don't you write at a later date, like in September? That would be an extra month and a half. Although it is possible to get over 30, it is kinda risky.
freebird
Four months is probably more than most people need, but four days? Haha, wow. And I thought I was pushing it with 5 weeks. Well anyways, good luck...

AndyDude
I thought that it would cost money to change your date? Yes. $50. It's better than a waste of $210 because even with a 35+ score the OP would remotely be close to his/her true potential.
