OneDay
how is the 10 min breaks enforced? Does the computer start the clock after 10 min, or is it the exam staff that make watch your break time?
candiolp
You computer screen times the 10 minute breaks, then I think it will start the next section of the test. It takes some time to scan out/in and that is included in the 10 minutes.
avenir001
when i did it last summer, the computer did not start automatically after the 10 mins...u had to press continue or something and it would start again. some ppl do this immediately cuz they could do w/o breaks. for my first break i was back in like 5 mins cuz i was worried it would start w/o me, but once i made sure it doesn't, i took a longer second break to call my mom ...of course, they wouldn't let me take my cellphone with me so i had to call her from a pay phone
ericl
i had a nice sandwich for breakfast then for my 10 min breaks i had gatorade and a mars bar .. and then a little bit of water to rinse........ felt very hyper after!
maria
yeah I wrote in July and the computer did not start automatically after the ten minutes. It just said your time is up -EXACTLY like on the CBT practice AAMC exams. As long as you don't take like 15 minutes, you should be fine.
