flamesfan Posted August 11, 2008 Report Share Posted August 11, 2008 this message is mainly directed to Queen's students but anyone with info please let me know.... bio 102/103 - only 103 has labs but they are every week as opposed to the full years where a tutorial is also present. on AMCAS i only put lab with 103 but now i am worried because each school requires 1 year bio with lab and it does not explicitly say that 103 fulfills this. anything i need to do or am i just fretting over nothing? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some requirements such as SUNY upstate, require you to have completed a general bio course, general physics course (so no astronomy and no physiology) at least that was how i interpreted it as. a41 Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 I went to Queen's and only took Bio 102/103. I didn't have any other AMCAS BIOL courses that had labs and things worked out ok for me... I think that's the only intro bio course at Queen's so I don't think you'd be penalized for the way the bio department structures its courses. Can I list phgy 212 down? I'd do that if I had no other option....worth a shot. But don't you have Biol 205? I thought everyone had to at least take 205 as well.
