MCAT score consideration in universities?

Hi, I just received my MCAT score today and was wondering exactly what universities are looking for in your MCAT.

Is it the total score, or do they look at the individual scores of the 3 sections?

BTW i ask this because my score looks like this:

Physical Sciences: 13

Verbal reasoning: 8

Biological Sciences: 14

Writing Sample: Q

I realize my Verbal reasoning is pretty low... I know that, for example, McGill University says that applicants should have a minimum of 8 for VR
