VTeight7
I just found out today that Interfolio offers "signature" insertion into LORs - however Interfolio's already received all my profs' LORs (some were sent in electronically). Is it REALLY that important that profs have their signature of their LOR if they simply emailed the letters to Interfolio? What I mean is, will I face rejection simply on the basis of lack of signatures?
anew98
can someone answer this?
Retsage
I can't imagine that it is. I don't know that any of my profs signed, and I've yet to have any problems.
anew98
Can someone tell me how Interfolio works? I still haven't made an account on it yet. Thanks.
Dayne67
i don't think it's that big of an issue. To avoid this though, I specifically told my profs that I wanted them to mail in signed and dated letters on official letterhead to Interfolio. I didn't want to take the chance that they would be too lazy to digitize their signatures or the possibility that they may not have electronic letterhead. token
I wouldn't worry about it as long as the letters were on official letterhead. I didn't give any specific instructions to my profs and all the schools accepted them without issue.
Mashmetoo
How does it work in terms of official letterhead if your references submit electronically?
token
I'm pretty sure most schools can provide their faculty and staff with an electronic version (most likely a Word template) of the letterhead.
