xylem29
I've been waitlisted/on hold at some schools post-interview. Do you think schools move relatively fast through the waitlists at Canadian-friendly schools (ie Albany, RFU) ? You need to determine what kind of WLs they are. I have found that Canadian WLs move much faster b/c it is always ranked. In the US - some of them are unranked. This means that some schools will give full file reviews again from amongst what they consider to be the top applicants on the WL. Some, while Canadian friendly - will favor state-residents when it comes to the WLs. Others, will pick students that have shown great enthusiasm (via constant contact with the school through updates, questions, inquiries, letters of interest/intents, etc). Other schools will pick from the WL a profile that matches the one lost (URM for a URM, a Canadian for a Canadian).
