Illuminis
Hey guys, I understand that it's better to apply early, so I'm hoping to send my primary app off by early June. However, I don't think I can prepare all my references by such an early date, especially since I expect an excellent letter from the prof I'm working with this summer, and I've only been in his lab for a couple weeks so far. Also, I'll contact my school this week to send out my official transcript. I'm just so afraid of missing deadlines/ messing up this application, as I'm still not extremely familiar with the American application process. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! PS. When do I need to start worrying about secondary applications?
UserName
you can start worrying about secondary applications right now. they will usually be the same questions from last year and they are available on studentdoctor forums
Madz25
if you dont have your references in, the review of your entire application (primary, secondary, mcat, gpa, references) will be put on hold until they recieve all the reference letters. it would be the same as applying later. token
You can submit your AMCAS without the letters in June so the verification process will be done by the time your references are in.
