Of course twas cold and rainy But it's better than sitting there just waiting and twiddling my thumbs Be it metro or early retirement The uncertainties of life always strike Life deals its cards, be prepared Have a plan for unforeseen contingencies We play the game of life to cope, survive and to thrive How we adjust is all important We always go through changing stages Constantly challenged beyond our comfort level Readying us for what comes next Though we don't have a clue of whats around the next corner We eagerly anticipate our next test that makes us stronger yet still The goal is to save lifes, prevent disease and teach healthy living, to improve and prolong others' lives through collaborative work and lifelong learning Staying at the top of our game!
