interview prep at mac

Recommended Posts

There were sessions called preparing for medical school interviews at the end of Jan/early Feb offered through career services (http://careers.mcmaster.ca/events/preparing-your-presentation-getting-ready-for-medical-school-interviews). Apparently the powerpoint slides are posted somewhere on the website as well (or you could probably e-mail career services for them).

In terms of mock interviews, they have a mock interview round table thing, but I don't think its med school focused and they don't offer individual mock interviews. If you want to record yourself they have a program that asks you questions and records you http://mcmaster.interviewstream.com/

Well, there are several intervew prep sessions (both standard and mmi) run by health scies every week, but you wouldnt like it. Im sure their answers are severely inflated and you'd be frustrated by how hard you would be working compared to them.

Hahaha. Nice.

Lol I was about to post this, but you beat me to it.

With that said, mattg (and anyone else) you are welcome to come (beware, a lot of healthscis will be there though!). PM me - we are meeting tonight in the healthsci library at 6:30 (I imagine this is too short notice), but we meet several times a week in different groups for interview practice/strategy discussion.
