Voiding Test Score

Do all Canadian med schools only look at your most recent test score for applicant selection (granted that it was written within the past 5 years)?

Some look at your best. Also remember, it's hard to tell how you did from your reaction to the test. You may feel you did amazing and then end up with a not-so-hot score, and feel you did poorly and kill a section. You just never know.

 

In the US, multiple writes are looked down upon. In Canada, it doesn't really matter much and some schools will use the best score.

so true.... I still remember how I was so afraid for my MCAT score that I had hard time sleeping... then the scores came out and all was well (well, maybe another 2 points on VR couldnt have hurt... but i try not to be greedy )

In Ontario, most MCAT-requiring medical schools (Toronto, Western, McMaster), evaluate your most recent set of MCAT scores, with the exception of Queen's.
