Hackintosh
I was wondering if anyone knows how a second bachelor's degree is looked upon by US medical schools? Can it help or will it be useless for reapplicants? Also, can make-up years as a non-degree student be used to boost the gpa for american applications? keith_015
I was wondering if anyone knows how a second bachelor's degree is looked upon by US medical schools? Can it help or will it be useless for reapplicants? Can't help here. Also, can make-up years as a non-degree student be used to boost the gpa for american applications? Yes. All marks as such are included as Post-Bac marks and are included in the overall GPA calculation, so better marks will help boost. At the same time, a 5th year (as I am guessing you are thinking about) may hardly nudge your GPA too much higher than maybe a couple hundredths of a point. nosuperman
I'm interested in this as well. Started a thread for it on SDN (allopathic pre-med) so hopefully someone gets back to me.
